My daughter requested a Tinkerbell party for her fourth birthday and I immediately was excited with ideas.  We decided to keep the color scheme lavender and apple green with a touch of pink.  We hosted a party for the little ones at a local indoor play gym.  They had a wonderful room for the cake and food, but we ran out of tablecloths and had to use a blue one they had on hand (oops!).

I immediately knew I had to create a wood cupcake stand based on an tutorial from a Parents magazine awhile back.  I found the tutorial online and recreated the stand with a few of my own touches – some moss at the base and butterflies.

For the cupcakes, I was honored to have Charynn from Two Sugar Babies create some fondant cupcake toppers.  She designed Tinkerbell wings covered in edible “fairy dust” and a beautiful mix of flowers inspired by the invitation design.

I stumbled upon these elegant silver vases at Michael’s during their post-Christmas sale for 80% off.  I bought the last five in stock and they turned into some cute centerpieces when paired with artificial flowers and my matching cake topper (which can also be used as a centerpiece accent as shown).

For other decorations, the talented Telina from Keepsake Kanz created these cute Tinkerbell and pirate cans.  The pirate can was a perfect addition for the few boys that attended.

Dawn from Addy&Tabby designed a handmade dress that was Tinkerbell inspired.  The dress was gorgeous and my little one felt like the real Tinkerbell!  A stunning matching hair bow was designed by Tracy from Traveling Seams Bowtique.

I wanted to do something creative for the favors that I knew the guests would enjoy.  I contacted Nicole from Lillianna Marie Designs for some ideas and decided on Tinkerbell Dress-up “unpaper dolls” for the girls and a pirate map with eye patch for the boys.  The girls were also lucky enough to receive cute hair bows created by Antonietta from ByTina-Design.

  1. Hey there,
Love this idea. My 4 year old wants a fairy tea party this year. Do you sell the template for the invitations? I love it, I have been hunting and this one is fabulous.

    Thanks so much
    Jen
